Engineered by Hoshino Gakki, this bridge features the patented enclosed walled saddle tracks (U.S. Patent 6,133,515) cast directly into the baseplate. These deep interlocking channels lock each saddle firmly in place, completely eliminating lateral saddle movement and maintaining precise string alignment during aggressive fingerstyle, picking, or slap bass playing.
The high-mass cast baseplate provides excellent string vibration transfer directly to the instrument body, improving sustain and clarity across all five strings. Designed with dual-loading capability, it supports both traditional rear-load stringing through the back wall and staggered string-through-body routing. All five saddles feature deep string guide notches and are fully adjustable for individual action height and intonation. This bridge was factory equipment on numerous Ibanez Soundgear (SR305, SR885), Ergodyne (EDB555), and BTB (BTB205, BTB305FM) models, making it an ideal drop-in OEM replacement or upgrade for custom 5-string bass projects.
